So I got well.

Without the bloody antibiotics.

Whomever I told that I might take antibiotics looked at me as if I was a dead-man-walking. So it kinda scared the shit out of me. They said it wasn't such a good idea at my age (4 months). So I thought I should listen to the wise.

So I'm good now. No more coughing, no more vomiting. My shit is still green, though. Mom says it's normal (she heard from someone wiser that it happens when young people like me start learning something new, like new habits, etc.). So I'm not too worried about it.

On a bright note, I've started taking some solid food!!! It is still strange - whenever mom puts the spoon in my mouth I start suckling it. Well yeah, I know it's not her breast, but I can't control it!

Over the last couple of days I haven't been feeling great - cough, coupled with noise in my chest. Yesterday night it went a step further - while coughing, I started vomiting. Yeah, pretty ugly. It happened at least twice, as I remember. Sleeping was not a pleasure.

Anyhow, so I woke up this morning, picked up my mom and dad and I went to see the doctor. Doctor says I might have caught some virus. Something tells me he is right. My nose is running, my shit is green, etc. So he gave me medicine for cough, fever, rashes and antibiotics.

The good news: I tried the scales at the clinic. I'm 7.3 kg.

So the 2nd of May was my third monthly birthday. I'm three months old. What have I achieved in these 3 months?

1) I have gained over 3 kg and now I weigh good 7 kg.
2) I think I am 4-5 cm taller but I wouldn't bet.
3) I can hold my head OK, not perfect but OK.
4) I can focus my vision on something. I can see in the radius of 3-4 meters. I think I recognise my parents.
5) I can smile and occasionally laugh.
6) I fart loud.

yesterday I made my mama cry. i think it was because i was crying constantly. she thought she was a bad mother or something.. or that i don't like her.

lesson learnt: women are fragile.

I'm probably 20-30 minutes old here, right out of the Operation Room. My old man is ecstatic. Special thanks to my aunt Aijan. She's the one who had a camera-phone. In a rush, my parents forgot to take their camera along.

Today is my 2nd birthday (2nd month:). Today is my uncle Arstan's birthday too. Aaaand tomorrow is my mom's birthday.

So we decided to celebrate our birthdays in Sunway Lagoon, spending the whole day there. And since food is expensive in there, we decided to make an take our own food. Aunt Gulnara, uncle Arstan's wife, took the responsibility of preparing it. She made chicken, marinated in ginger and garlic sauce, and a cake. It was goooood...

Anyhow, since my dad's car on that day was a tiny Kancil, and there were 8 of us including me and my cousin Arsen, we thought we shouldn't torture the poor car. So uncle Arstan and his family took a taxi. Me, dad, mom and aunt Ommay (mom's sister) went by car. Aunt Aijan had to go to town early in morning to do the city-tour for some tourists.

So here we are in Sunway Pyramid, hanging out, basically waiting for Aunt Aijan. So arrives with a cake (another one!). But by that time me and my cousin were sleeping like this:



After a while of waiting it was getting too late for Sunway Lagoon. It was 2 pm by then. And the park would close at 6 pm. So we hurried to Sunway Lagoon. We bought tickets to both the wet and dry parks. Then we realised that outside food is not allowed in there. Bacause they want to make money by selling their food, which is 3-times expensive than normal. So we were a bit down at first (after all that preparation). But dad was smarter than that. He put the food boxes under my stroller and made me look sleeping :) So when we were passing the bag check, they didn't look under my stroller!!! Hehehe :) Yaaaahooooooo!!!

First, we enjoyed the pool and water here:



The pool was nice, but the music was a little too loud for my liking. But everybody else enjoyed it. I was sleeping.

Then everybody was hungry and we went to cut the cake and have the chickens:





Food was good. After food we checked out the rest of Sunway Lagoon, but there was too little time left and we just couldn't cover everything. So here's a piece of advice from me - if you are going to Sunway Lagoon, go for the whole day! 10 am - 6 pm. There's a lot to see and enjoy.

After the park closed we decided to hit home straight. Everybody was exhausted. Too exhausted to even get a taxi. So, poor Kancil, here we come. The 8 of us miraculously got in that little tiny Kancil with my stroller and 4-5 bags!!!

This is how I celebrated "April's fool" :)

It's been a while since my last post. Apologia for that. So what's been happening lately?

1. My dad still hasn't bought anything for me yet
2. My grandma (mom's mom) has gone back to Yangon and now my mom is having hard time controlling me
3. Dad was on a long leave (about 10 days) from work before my grandma left and we all did a lot of outing
4. I've been growing steady - my weight is now (as of yesterday) 5.7 kg and on April 2 I'll be 2 months old
5. I've been having nose-blocks similar to sinus. Yesterday dad bought Vicks (is that how it's spelled?) to apply on my nose. It's supposed to help me breath. I think it's doing the job.
